You can Bring into your life more power, more wealth, more health,more happiness, and morejoy by learning to contact and release the hidden power of your subconcious mind. You need not acquire this power; you already posses it. But, you have to learn how to use and how to apply it in all the aspects of your life. Education should help all of us to discover the hidden treasure house within us and it should help us to learn the art of living that is becoming to the true dignity of human being.

It is with immense joy that I pen these few lines in appreciation for the forthcoming School News Bulletin. This creative venture of the school management is certainly a golden opportunity to explore the literary and creative talents of the students. Through the pages of this New Bulletin the Parents and well wishers of the school will be updated with the manifold activities carried out in the school by which the school cares for the all round development of the students. Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School, Raikot is an English Medium Co Educational School affiliated to ICSE, New Delhi under its syllabus and was established in 1998 by the Diocese of Jalandhar giventhe patronage and guidance of RT Rev. Dr. SymphorianKeeparth , the then Bishop of Jalandhar and by the sustained effort and hard work of its first Director, Rev. Fr. Xavier Thazhathuveetil. RT Rev. Dr. Franco Mulakkal, the Bishop of the Diocese of Jalandhar is the current patron of the School. The Diocese of Jalandhar is a Catholic Christian Minority Religious and Charitable Society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 (Act No XXI of 1860)vide No 134 of 1957-1958 and hence the School enjoys all the rights and privileges of a minority institution as enshrined under Articles 29 and 30 of the Indian Constitution. Although it is owned and managed by a Religious Minority Community with the primary objective of serving and imparting education to Christian Children, admission to the School is opento boys and girls of other communities of all religions, caste, creed or linguistic sects who wish to get ICSE education with full freedom and liberty to practice their faiths in dignity and respect.
