Admission
1. Registration
All prospective candidates for admission to any class must get their
names registered at the School Office. The dates of registration shall
be intimated through the Principal’s circular. No registration shall be
made prior to the date specified.
2. Admission Procedures
There shall be a written test followed by an interview for admission to
any class except for the Nursery Class. Selection will be based strictly
on merit, subject to the availability of seats in each class. The
decision of the School Authorities regarding registration and admission
will be final and binding on all concerned. There is no specific
syllabus for the Entrance Examination. But test will be conducted
according to the standard of our School based on the subjects taught in
previous classes.
3. Selection Criteria
- Admission will be mainly on merit.

Provisional admission will be granted on the basis of marks obtained
in the Pre – Board exams. Pass mark in English is compulsory.

5% additional marks for outstanding sports persons at State or
National level will be considered.

If the selection Board of the school deems it necessary, entrance test
may be conducted to test suitability and aptitude of a student for the
choice of the stream.

Physical Education as an optional subject will be available to only
able bodied students. To determine the same a Physical Efficiency Test
may be held in first /second week of May 2022.

Seeking admission to class XI Demands a commitment from the student
that he/ she will adhere to the Rules and Regulations of the school
particularly of one’s comportment and social manners, hair style,
personal deportment, past history of character traits, etc. will be
considered.

Granting of admission is subject to the condition that the student
will be personally responsible for his/her behavior, discipline and
regularity in attendance. If a student remains absent for more than 6
days, without permission his/ her name will be struck off from the
rolls and re admission will normally be not granted.

For promotion to class XII , it is mandatory as per the ICSE
regulation that a student , besides obtaining the required pass
percentage, should have attended the school at least 75% of all
working days.

All admissions are provisional till the declaration of Result of class
X of the Board. A change of stream may be required as necessary after
the result, if the eligibility criteria are not fulfilled. Change of
stream is permissible subject to the availability of seats in the
desired stream.

Mobile phones are strictly banned in the school; if found, will be
confiscated.

The school authorities are the final arbiters of all admissions.

5. Admission Requirements
- The Academic year begins in March and ends in February.

Admission to the various classes shall be opened to all irrespective
of caste, creed or race subject to eligibility and the availability
of seats. However the School Authorities and the Principal reserve
the right to refuse admission to a student who in their opinion may
not be able to cope up with the standard of studies and syllabus in
the School or that the student is of poor health or character which
would affect his/her or other’s studies and behaviour . In all such
cases the decision of the School Authorities and the Principal shall
be final and binding on all concerned. Registration of a child does
not guarantee admission. It only means that the child may appear for
an entrance test and interview and thereafter the School Authorities
and the Principal will decide whether admission is to be given or
not, subject to availability of vacancy and suitability.

Students are usually admitted only at the beginning of the Academic
Year. Admission to Nursery is to be taken at the age of three and a
half years.

Those who seek admission to classes other than K.G. Section will
have to bring the school leaving Certificate from the last School
attended but will be placed in the standard most suited as assessed
by the Principal. Birth certificate from the Municipality/Hospital
duly attested should be produced at the time of admission. If it is
found subsequently that a false birth certificate has been procured
to obtain admission, the candidate will be barred from studying in
this institution. Date of birth as shown in the birth certificate
once registered cannot be altered to any account.

Parents/Guardian are asked to fill in the admission form with the
utmost possible accuracy. No subsequent changes will be permitted
thereafter for any reason.

No student will be admitted except for the nursery class without a
prior test and interview.
The admission procedure will be completed only after submitting the
necessary documents and depositing the fees within 3 days of offer of
admission failing which the seat will be allotted to the next child in
the waiting list. Fee once paid will not be refundable.
